Painter, graphic artist, theater creator, performer, essayist and art critic. 
He is considered as an icon of Polish artistic underground.

A graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow (1956-1958)  
and in 1958-1962 the branch of home university - in Katowice. 
In 1979-1992 he was in the United States, thanks to Kościuszko Foundation’s scholarship. 
The organizer of exhibitions and symposia about art of Hans Bellmer in Katowice (1995, 2002) 
Co-founder of the Creative Association Bellmer, together with Henry Wańko.

He debuted on individual exhibition at the Crooked Circle Gallery in Warsaw in 1963, where he 
showed the images which aimed to refer to the idea of Władysław Strzemiński. 
The artist's work balanced between the vanguard pursuit of transcendent ideal of world's linearity 
and spiritual inspirations drawn from Buddhism, neognoza or the occult. 
His works are stored in museums around the world. 
The artist's works are in collections of: National Museum in Warsaw, the National Museum in 
Poznań, Museum in Katowice and Museum of Art in Łódź.
